VADALEX Access Control
We are developing our own access control ecosystem — the software and the hardware, engineered together by one team.
Access control, designed end to end
After a decade of installing and servicing third-party access control equipment, we know exactly where it breaks: closed protocols, licence fees for every door, clumsy software and hardware that stops thinking the moment the network drops. VADALEX Access Control is our answer — a platform where the controller, the reader, the mobile app and the cloud are developed by the same engineering team, so every layer speaks the same language.
The goal is a system an owner can actually run: open one dashboard, see every door, every person and every event across all of their buildings, and change a rule in seconds instead of calling a technician.
Software development
A cloud platform written from scratch: multi-site management, users, groups, schedules, temporary passes and a complete audit trail of every door event. Web dashboard plus a REST API so integrators can plug the system into HR, ERP, booking or visitor-management tools.
Hardware development
Our own controller board with encrypted communication, offline decision-making and battery-backed operation. Doors keep working when the internet is down and re-sync automatically once the link is back.
Biometrics & credentials
Face and fingerprint recognition running on the edge, combined with encrypted cards, PIN codes and mobile credentials — one identity, many ways to open a door.
Mobile app
Bluetooth and NFC unlocking, remote door release, guest invitations with expiry dates and instant push notifications for forced-door, door-held-open and denied-access events.
Integrations
Native links to our CCTV, fire alarm and intercom lines — every access event is stamped onto video, and fire alarms release doors automatically along the evacuation route.
Cyber security
End-to-end encryption between reader, controller and cloud, signed firmware updates, role-based administration and privacy-first biometric templates that never leave the device as raw images.
From the door to the cloud
1. Identify
A face, a fingerprint, an encrypted card or a phone presents a credential. The reader verifies it locally in a fraction of a second — no cloud round-trip, no waiting at the door.
2. Decide
The controller checks the person against schedules, zones, anti-passback rules and temporary permissions stored on the board itself, then drives the lock, the turnstile or the barrier.
3. Report
Every event is streamed to the cloud with the matching camera clip, feeding live dashboards, attendance reports and instant alerts on your phone.
Where the project stands
Platform core
Cloud architecture, device provisioning, user and permission model, event pipeline and the first web dashboard release.
Controller prototype
First production-intent controller boards, enclosure design, lab testing for power loss, tamper and network failure scenarios.
Readers & biometrics
Edge face recognition module, fingerprint and card readers, mobile credential rollout with Bluetooth and NFC.
Pilot installations
Live deployments on selected South Florida sites, certification work and the public launch of the VADALEX Access Control line.
