Vadalex Access Control Technician Certification is a comprehensive assessment for access control system specialists. It combines theoretical questions with practical scenarios to evaluate not just terminology knowledge, but a technician's ability to handle real-world tasks: equipment wiring, door configuration, power supply, networking, software configuration and troubleshooting.

What The Test Covers

The test evaluates knowledge and practical skills across the following areas:

- Access Control Wiring - Electrical & Power - Readers & Credentials - Door Hardware - Networking - Software Configuration - Troubleshooting - Life Safety

The practical section includes real-world scenarios: connecting readers, electric strikes and magnetic locks, configuring relay NO/NC contacts, calculating power supply requirements, setting up IP addressing, access levels and schedules, analysing event logs and diagnosing faults.

How The Test Works

The test consists of two parts.

Theory

The system randomly selects 20 questions from a pool of 50.

Practice

Maximum score: 100 points

What You Receive After Completion

Upon finishing the test, the system automatically determines:

- Overall result - Technician level - Professional strengths - Areas requiring improvement - Competency profile - Primary specialization

For example:

> Senior Access Control Technician > Specialization: Access Control Installation & Wiring

Individual scores are calculated for Wiring, Power, Networking, Door Hardware, Software Configuration, Troubleshooting and other areas.
